Crane's collection of Dog Notes was reintroduced at the National Stationery Show earlier this month. There are currently eight breeds in the line - Standard Poodle, Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Scottish Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Dachshund, Yorkshire Terrier and a Labradoodle Puppy.
For 2011 Crane will expand its offering of Dog Notes, but there are soooo many breeds out there it's pretty hard to figure out which might be the most popular to be featured on Crane paper.
So that's where you and your friends come in. Let's see if we can get a consensus winner. Enter a comment below promoting your favorite breed, or send me a Dog Tweet @craneinsider. I'll pick one winner from the blog and one from Twitter for a selection of Crane's Brushstoke Animals.

I'm glad you're adding some more dogs since the ones so far are not my cup of tea. I think a French Bulldog would...Wha?! Hold on...my dogs just ganged up on me and I need to change that. I mean Pugs...I think you need to add a pug. Whew...that made them happy. Nothing as bad as upset pugs. They will lick you to death!
ReplyDeleteOf course my vote is for me...he,he,he, the Golden Retriever...but, moms says since Crane is looking for something new in the fur arena...how about the cute Corgie. Little dog with a big dog heart.

How about a Chihuahua - they're so small that you could put two on the card!
ReplyDeletebleubug is on the right track. I would prefer the traditional look of an Olde English Bulldogge. These would complement the fine, traditional stationary papers that you offer.
ReplyDeleteBasset hound or pointer
ReplyDeleteHi, Peter,
ReplyDeleteI'll have to go with the dachshund. I just love those little doggies! Would sure look pretty on a card. And I sure would love to win.
I would love to see an Old English Bulldogge on your notecards. Like Crane & Co, they are a very traditional breed, with a great deal of historical roots.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be wonderful to have some Big dogs! There are so many wonderful large breeds that seem to be left out. I would love to see a Harlequin Dane like mine or a Saint Bernard! Those that have big dogs are loyal to products that feature them! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe Labrador, because my dog Joe says so :) They're from Crane so they'll all be best in show!
ReplyDeletei think irish setters would look lovely on crane's stationery. :)
