We were thrilled to learn yesterday that three Crane products have been selected as finalists for the 22nd Annual Louie Awards, presented by the Greeting Card Association. The Louie Awards are considered the pinnacle of recognition by our peers in the industry, and it is indeed gratifying to receive such acknowledgement. All finalists will be displayed at the National Stationery Show in May, and winners will be announced at a special event on Monday, May 17, in

And, before I forget, the winner of the Little Papers You Can Write Your Name On giveaway is commenter Dave Marler, who wrote:
While I would prefer the printed cards because of my poor penmanship, I do think the hand-written versions create a more personalized impression on the recipient. I would love to have the cards as I could make great use of them in spreading the word about my new business.

Congrats on the awards and good luck.
I love the letterpress card- absolutely beautiful!
Congratulations to Crane! They are beautiful sets of cards that I'm sure anyone (myself included) would be happy to own.
I have taken a particular interest in industry awards lately, and I am confident that the finalist position reflects the beautiful design and excellent printing I see in the photos. Are there other criteria? Are there categories or just one best-of-show? Are your products nominated for different categories? How do the products become nominees, finalists, and winners? And who is Louie?
All three of the products are highly covetable. I would be a proud and happy winner. I hope that come May 17, Crane is a proud and happy triple winner, if your finalists are not competing with each other. Good luck.
What an honor! I'm surprised more Crane products aren't included but those that have been are quite worthy. That red used for the aniv card is simply luscious!
Love is merely a madness, and, I tell you, deserves as well a dark house and a whip as madmen do:
when will the list be announced, I wonder? Congrats to you!
There's no question Crane is tops!
The letterpress card is exquisite and what girl wouldn't want a Kate Spade wardrobe to use as they share their good wishes.
Congratulations on the award! I love them all! What a cute name - "A Little Bird Told Me"
Congratulations on the honor; well deserved!
While the weekly give aways are awesome, they also give us Crane paper lovers a chance to view for the first time, or more closely, the beauty and variety of the social papers and cards Crane offers. Love that!
Congratulations on the three items that made the finalists. I am not suprised....I love all three!
They are all greaat cards. I already have the Maddness card for my anniversary in November, and have had it for quite some time. My favorite is the Oscar Wild birthday card. My wife loved it when she got hers. So did my sister, who is 2 years older than me, and has sent cards about how old I am for quite some time.
The best part is they are Crane, and I can use my fountain pen on them!
How brilliant the Kate Spade Crane box set is to keep the cards protected, fresh, available and organized...now...I must get some friends..
Congrats on the well deserved recognition!
Each time I think I've perused everything on Crane's website, I'm proven wrong (thankfully). All the items are beautiful, and leave it to Kate Spade to combine beauty with function.
Best wishes to all at Crane on the nomination.
It is a pleasure to read the Crane Insider. Thank you for taking us behind the scenes at Crane & Co. I love it.

Simply elegant... As a papermaker, I am usually expected to send "handmade" cards - which I never quite get around to doing. It would be greatly appreciated by my recipients to receive instead, a genuine CRANE card such as one of these...
"A Little Bird" is one of our favorites here at The Fisherman's Wife! Congratulations to Crane and thanks for sharing the news!
Well, I've spent the last twenty minutes trying to see how I can attend the NSS at the Javitz...but they're pretty serious about only the trade being allowed in!
Congrats and good luck with the LOUIEs!
To answer a previous comment: "the LOUIEs are named after Louis Prang, the German-born Boston lithographer credited with the birth of the U.S. Christmas card in the 1870s."
Congratulations on the nominations. All three are just wonderful.
